This Navitars motorization has a design which associates magnetic Hall-Effect sensors to reference position location. Users can select to motorize the zoom and focus axis, or just the zoom. The three different motor types on hand are 2 Phase Stepping Motor (Faulhaber), 5 Phase Stepping Motor (Oriental, Vexta), and DC Servo with Encoder (Faulhaber). All HE units can be regulated via USB or RS-232 drivers with Windows and LabVIEW VI software. The control system is available as either table top or board level.
