The VEGA78 is an instrument designed for carrying out tests and analysis on three-phase and single-phase electric systems. It displays information in real time on a TFT color display in the values of all common electric quantities, including current, voltage, reactive power, active power, power factor, etc. The waveforms of currents and voltages are shown. This instrument also allows the evaluation of harmonic content introduced by televisions, computers, controlled electric motors, and other non-linear loads. PC management software is included, which expands the analysis possibilities of the acquired data. A maximum of 251 parameters can be selected at the same time, and an integrated period is selectable from one second to sixty minutes. Voltage anomalies such as swells and sags are displayed with 10-ms resolution. An external AC/D adapter and rechargeable Li-Ion battery are included.
