right-angle prism / fused silica / BK7

Altechna manufactures Right-Angle Prisms out of BK7 or UVFS. They have a dimension tolerances, clear aperture, pyramidal tolerance, surface quality, surface flatness and protective chamfers of +0/-0,2 mm, >80%, ?1 arcmin (general type), 40/20 S/D, ?/4 @ 632.8 nm and <0,25 mm x 45 deg, respectively. Moreover, their 90 deg angle tolerance is at ?2 arcmin for the general type and ?5 arcsec for precision type. These prisms are best when used to an inclined mirror and in applications which include heavy acoustic or inertial loads as they are easily-mounted and harder to disfigure as compared with a mirror responding to an outer mechanical pressure.
