These AR coated fused silica lenses are designed for high frequency laser pulses where standard grade fused silica does not perform very well. The special grade fused silica Corning HPFS7978 material were used to manufacture these lenses. HPFS 7978 has very low hydroxyl molecule presence compared to standard fused silica material, which results in less absorption of laser light and greatlly reduce the chances of internal damage of the lenses. Five different AR coatings can be selected with these lenses to cover the usage with most popular commercial lasers for material processing market.
