To deal with fixed cavity optic dispersion, these prisms are used intra-cavity. They are ideal for compensating for the dispersion of a Ti: sapphire crystal, for example. The prisms can also be used extra cavity in order to manipulate pulse characteristics. Fused silica, LaKL21, and SF10 are the prism materials offered to compensate for different dispersion conditions. For each material, two sizes are available: 15 mm and 25 mm.
