The IR Plano Convex lenses from Newport are composed of calcium fluoride, zinc selenide, sapphire and AMTIR. They are ideal for IR applications (180 nm-16000 nm). Calcium fluoride (CaF2) lenses are suitable for high transmission and minimum chromatic aberration between deep-UV to mid-IR wavelengths (180 nm-8000 nm). AR-coated zinc selenide (ZnSe) lenses are suitable for near IR to mid IR lights (800 nm -16 ?m), and when CO2 lasers are used. Sapphire lenses are ideal for high pressure and vacuum applications.
