The Talon? series belongs to the class of UV and green diode-pumped solid state Q-switched laser which is manufactured by Newport. It has a rugged design that is appropriate in supplying the long-tern performance and low cost of ownership necessary for a 24/7 precision manufacturing tool.

The unit is capable in a wide range of micro-machining applications where extended production cycles rely on stable beam quality and high up-time. It has a function of E-Pulse?, which holds pulse energy and pulse width constant over wide repetition rate ranges that assures excellent process control.

There is a wavelength of 355 nm to 532 nm and repetition rate of 0 to 500 kHz depending on the model. It has a pulse width of < 30 ns at 100 kHz, which can operate at a temperature of 18 to 35?C.
