The Spindle Analyzer manufactured by Automated Precision Inc. (API) is a device that functions as a maintenance and diagnostic of machine equipment. It is used to measure rotational errors with a fast operation. Also, this device functions as a control and measure equipment for short term and long term thermal growth at 5 degrees of freedom.

The Spindle Analyzer are available with a wide variety of types like thermal analyzer, dynamic analyzer and etc. This device is applicable for mapping thermal errors, drifting thermals, machine repeat-ability, and axial & rotational errors. It has a maximum revolution ranging up to 8,000 RPM and a measurement ranging up to 0-0.7 mm (0-0.03 in).
