Contact transducers are single-element longitudinal wave transducers, intended for use in direct contact with a test piece. This product is one of the best, being suitable for various applications in the industry. The advantages of using the product are numerous and the features include a WC-5 wear plate, which improves the durability, fracture and wear resistance of the item.

In addition to this, there are numerous applications that users can use this product with, such as detection and sizing of delaminations, as well as material characterization and sound velocity measurements, along with inspection of castings, extrusions, billets, forgings and bars.

Note that the item is suitable for continuous use on materials up to 50 degrees Celsius.
