The H505L from Meggit is a hydrophone that is developed as a small, flexible, self-amplified device for general purpose application to wide types of underwear acoustic measurements. In addition, the device offers with robustness, cost efficient and an highly less noise internal amplifier design.
The hydrophone and cable entry are fully encapsulated in polyurethane.

This relieves water interruption caused by cathodic action. The assembly used preaged piezoelectric PZT sensing elements.

The unit can be used in various studies such as underwater biological, ship noise, pump and machinery, and monitoring of underwater.
