Cutting/ Knife Mill / Ultra-Granulator

Area of Application:

Nowadays it is economically and environmentally reasonable to re-use waste from film rolls, film packages, edge trimmings, loose and tangled film and sheets or packaging waste. The Ultra-Granulators, series PS are used to pre-cut this type of waste in order to be re-used afterwards. Machine types for this application are preferably the PS-F, PSRH, PS-I and PSF.

Method of Operation:

The Ultra-Granulator cuts the material between rotating and stationary knives. Depending on the requirement, Pallmann offers various Ultra-Granulators with different rotor types. The end fineness of the material is determined by the mesh size of the screen installed. Depending on the type of feed material, various feeding systems (trough, draw-in rollers, belt conveyors etc.) can be chosen. The material is usually transported pneumatically.
