The Avomat-16 model is manufactured by Mecca Nicanicoletti, and is a high speed drum winder that has reels diameter ranging from 600 to 1600 mm, which has a loading capacity of 3000 kg. It has a semi automatic tightening of the reel via PZA grippers, which is also integrated with an automatic tension operated by PLC.
