flexible coupling / curved-tooth gear

The Denflex NVD coupling has a torque transmission executed using internal and external teeth. The latter have an external clamshell teeth geometry (hub) that allows articulation with the internal teeth (sleeve). This combination supplies the coupling with the ability to compensate all types of operating misalignment, including inevitable misalignaments during coupling machine installation.

Its torsional rigidity enables use in applications requiring torsional synchronism, and those that involve aggressive environments to elastomers, or constant load reversions.

The couplings are made out of hardened and tempered steel, and are fully machined and secured by high-strength bolts for higher transmission capacity in proportion to its size/weight, and resistance to shock from eventual high loads.

Its AGMA 516.01-compliant joint flange sizes between the Denflex NVD's sleeves can be interchanged with most gearbox couplings.
