The MD2S is a stepper motor that can be programmed universally. It can rotate stepper motors of driving size 17-42. 0.5-7.0A current is needed per winding with a increment of 0.5A. The l-option (low current) can be chosen within the range of .20-3.6A per winding with a increment of .05A. +16 VDC to +50VDC voltage supplier are used to empower this device. The MD2S-D controls speed digitally. This version assists to spin a stepper motor in absence of a motor controller. This version is designed with 8 DIP switches and 4 digital inputs to facilitate several operations like ramp up or down, reverse direction or run slow/fast. Being a FPGA based product it shows flexibility. On customers’ demand US Digital could adjust its firmware to desired behavior and parameters.
