Constructed with a modular design by Siemens, the FLENDER gear units for slewing gear drives can provide excellent positioning for driven machines. The FLENDER gear units for slewing gear drives have been assessed in different types of purposes including cranes and excavators that can be integrated with long or short lantern gear drive on the output side. Furthermore, the Siemens Flender gear's framework is made up of light weight materials, custom engineered lantern gear drive, bracket with motor, gear unit, brake and coupling, and enhanced sealing systems to provide optimum performance in a quiet operation while meeting the customer's needs.
