The Fludex coupling unit is a fluid coupling device in which the parts on the input and output sides are separate from each other. Because they are not connected, they are less likely to give in to wear. These keep the starting and maximum torque rates in the drive train in check and can help as a starting aid for a motor.

The unit has an overload protection system in the event that it malfunctions. It also separates itself from torsional vibrations. There are four coupling options available with different sizes and types as needed based on the construction plans users have to use.
