The main function of these air cooled condensers would be to condense the waste steam after steam turbine. Hence they are used in power stations. Through convection process, the heat is dissipated into the atmosphere. The steam inside this close circuit unit, circulates through a heat exchanger and this gets cooled by the flowing air.
