Rossi's Cat.GX Helical and Bevel Helical Gear Units for Extruders exhibit universal mounting capabilities, standard minimal-speed shafts manufactured out of steel materials, and modifiable screw shank holes. They feature integrated gear reducers with input faces and keyed shaft ends. They showcase gearmotors, directly keyed into high-speed shafts (? 38); complete with 4 cuts and hub clamps. Cylindrical roller bearings and tapered roller bearings are also sported.

The Cat.GX Series is available in a wide range of housing designs, with sized that vary from 140, 180, 280, 360, 400, and 451. All designs are manufactured to comply with international UNI ISO 185 and UNI ISO 1083 standards. It also comes in cast-iron single-piece model configurations in sizes that range from 100 to 360.
