The Linear ISO metric stainless steel shafting (NIMSS) from PBC is case hardened to approximately Rc55, suitable for use with Simplicity Frelon GOLD? lined bearings and linear ball bearings. The unit offers uniformed surface hardness and depth of hardness across a variety of sizes, providing enhanced performance.

Additionally, all metric 440 stainless steel shafting have been ground and polished in a uniformed surface coating range. It has resulted in a good level of predictable operation.

Its surface coating give evenly distributed loading results. It has also minimized the amount of wear and particulate generation, and minimized the drag. Lastly, the uniformed dimensional tolerances along the whole length of the inch steel shafting increase the constant bearing operation. The solid-round metric stainless steel shafting comes in inch dimensions from 3mm up to 30mm.
