The Electromagnetic Clutch/Brake is specifically equipped with a patented adjusting mechanism that gives not only a constant adjustment, but also produces a constant air gap. This clutch/brake is capable of giving a constant armature engagement time over the life of the unit, which is considered critical in various cycling applications.

Moreover, it also contains a stainless steel hub that breaks up residual magnetism (flux). It prevents the effect of magnetism from being passed into the shaft. Having a structure made from stainless steel, it has developed superior corrosion resistance, which is essential for eliminating the potential corrosion between the armature and the hub.

The design of the flutes in the armature helps to dissipate the generated heat made by friction.
