custom lead screw / anti-backlash / stainless steel

The KERK? acme lead screws are manufactured in standard size diameters from 1/8" (3.2mm) to 15/16" (23mm) and use standard leads from .012" to nearly 4" (0.30mm to 92mm) with both metric and left hand threads. Standard versions are manufactured out of 303 stainless steel, using Haydon Kerk's exclusive precision rolling process. These models feature positional bi-directional repeatability (using the Kerk anti-backlash nut) within 50 micro-inches (1.25 micron) and standard lead accuracy over 0.0006 in./in. (mm/mm). Additionally, these units are available in custom sizes and materials, as well as .0001 in./in. (mm/mm) lead accuracy, per user specifications.
