The Quad-Power II PowerBand from Gates will control the belt-to-belt distance and keeps it from bending sideways. This is flex-bonded and has tensile cords that are vulcanised with one solid unit. It is more resistant to other forces and loads. The flat back body also keeps noise out when a tensioner is used.

The elastomeric compound keeps it protected from heat, sunlight and other conditions. The ISO 1813 supported body can conduct static and may be used in Directive 94/9/EC ATEX standards.

The PowerBand resists vibrations and more weather conditions. It operates from -30 to 60 degrees Celsius. It uses less space and is more efficient than most other designs. It uses all Gates UNISET tolerances and does not have to be matched with anything as required.
