Gates Micro-V? multi-ribbed belts utilize EPDM synthetic rubber technology for accessory belt drive systems (ABDS). These belts offer reduced noise operation, increased load capacities and longer operating life under widely diverse temperature and environmental conditions.

These EPDM synthetic rubber belts, which meet the 250,000 + km usage requirement, benefit from newly patented elastomeric composites and modern processing techniques. Further tuning of ABDS systems for optimal performance with reduced NVH (Noise Vibration Harshness) is carried out through several tensile cord (polyester, nylon, aramid, etc.) and modulus options.
