The gearmotor reaches extreme radial loads without really losing the low noise level that it maintains. High reductions from 4.33 to 21 (in single-stage) and from 26 to 231 (in two-stage) are achieved. The 10,000-hour lifetime drives have strong low-wear plastic planet wheels that come inside an aluminium carrier having helical toothing so that the drive is a smooth one. Drive shafts mounted on double ball bearings are able to cope with high radial loads. The hardened ground steel shafts have a long life. Shafts with double surfaces, shoulders, (tapped) holes, recesses or serrations are available. Torque transmission can be achieved in a standard way using a feather key or a face connection.
