The R 30Q is an epicicloidal reduction gearbox manufactured by Bernio. This instrument comes with a galvanized steel frame and delrin, with hardened steel gear.

The output shaft of the device is supported by two ball bearings, with a maximum speed at the reduction gear of 5000rpm. The unit requires permanent greasing with axial 200N and radial 300N on the limit of the shaft.
