The Type N is a carbide drill bit that is fabricated from solid tungsten carbide K 20 and is finished in titanium aluminum nitride. Constructed with a wear-proof coating that significantly increases the surface hardness to a maximum of 3,000 HV, type N droll bits are susceptible to temperatures of 900?C. These feature prolongs service life and cuts rates to a maximum of 50%.
