?Walter AG now offers three additional efficient, effective and excellent steel cutting geometries in its Tiger?tec Silver? range. First in line is FP4 which runs on chip control for accurate precision machining. It is engineered to deliver high quality surface texture. Next is MP4, considered as a mid-range steel machining. It carries a universal design as opposed to the other two cutting geometries.

The MP4 is also available on two clearance angles and those are 7? and 11?. The latter angle enables machining of smaller diameters with precision-sintered and precision-ground design. For clarity, precision grinding refers to indexing accuracy that is twice as precise as sintering. This is ideal for precision finishing. Last geometry is RP4, designed for short chip breaking.
