Mikron Twicenter is part of the CrazyDrill series of economical, high-performance small drills.

It has two built-in ducts that are used for supplying the coolant straight to the spot of requirement, directly up to the cutting edge of the drill. The internal cooling feature is always of a great help, as long as the machine in use is capable of handling it. It eliminates the need for external cooling.

It is a challenge to bring the coolant straight up to the cutting edge, while drilling and centering in places which are difficult to reach. The only solution to this problem is an excellent internal cooling system. However, internal cooling is not always needed.

The device also continues to serve as a first-class centre drill for traditional needs. Higher cutting stability is provided by a double point. A 130? tip angle is combined with the parts equipped with 60? or 90? chamfers. This not only ensures that the cutting edges are properly protected but also assures that the successive drilling operations get accurate centering. The tool with a 120? point angle, which is the third type, provides high stability because of the point angle.
