The RD 460 is a grinding machine for impression cylinders manufactured by Emag. It consists of two autonomous grinding units, linear motors, and hydrostatic guideways. It highlights a single configuration comprising of a lateral surface and a transition edge. It has a maximum workpiece diameter of 550mm, a maximum workpiece length of 4000mm, an X-axis travel of 900mm, and a Z-axis travel of 5000mm.

Its benefits ranges from single operation for the contour-controlled grinding of the leading edges and finishing of the camber, grinding of the taper, grinding with corundum and CBN wheels, in-process measuring control, to linear motor technology.
