Sam system represents the submerged arc welding system.
Its design and structure are based on the world well-known Gullco MOGGY? trackless travel carriage system and a wide range of quality engineered components. This combination results in very highly flexible self-contained welding unit. This unit is designed to achieve flexibility, reliability and accuracy of Submerged Arc or MIG welds.

SAM? Carriage, model GM-02-295 has a heavy-duty travel carriage that is driven by the friction.
For achieving the exact speed, the carriage has the positive chain drive on four rubber tired wheels using a closed loop tack feedback.
The SAM carriage has Gullco low voltage 24 volt GSP microprocessor pulse width modulation motor control. These components are mounted in an isolated pendant control box attached to 8 ft. (243.84 cm) control cable housing the GSP control giving the forward/stop/reverse switch and infinitely variable 4-turn speed potentiometer.
