This automates the overlay and cladding welding operations. The Gullco KAT? Indexing System is typically used to automatically perform single or multi-head overlay or cladding welding operations, hard surfacing, etc. The automated process drives a device that is motorized which cycles back and forth between limit switches. When the device that is cycling touches a limit switch, it stops, and the other device starts to index the gun/torch a preset distance in a preset direction. An Arc Signal Relay is supplied with the system to provide an integrated activation of the arc the activation signals to the over;ay/surfacing equipment. A couple of GSP controls each with microprocessor chips control the automated two axis indexing system. The two GSP controls are Index Control and Cycle Control. Each of them offer the user programmable paramaters/variables to let fine-tuning and functional control of the automated cycle. Gullco Indexing Systems allows repetitive overlay/surfacing cycles.
