A sludge Thickener, the ROTAMAT? Disc Thickener RoS 2S by Huber Technology optimizes sludge treatment. This system is ideal for treatment plants of waste water reaching 200,000 PE.

At the heart of this innovation is a slowly rotating, inclined disc filter that separates sludge from the filtrate. From the flocculation reactor, the baffle plate delivers the sludge evenly across the filter. Plows are flexible and can move the sludge and open the furrows to drain the water, creating a filtration process. As the disc rotates, a scraper pushes the slush into the disc. A spray bar then back-sprays the filter.
