In various kinds of cooling towers, drift eliminators are utilized to restrict the loss of water and emissions. A layer of drift eliminators is installed above the water distribution and the cooling fills. Water drops that are carried away with the air-flow are caught by the drift eliminators and are redirected into the cooling water-circuit.
