An essential operation in the paper milling industry is the checking and recording of the finished sheet gloss level. Industrial gloss monitoring system T7G allows to measure the gloss level of a continuously moving sheet of paper whilst being processed on a super calendaring machine or during the final stage of manufacture, through a variable independent method suited for this application.
The actual trend is toward self-controlling manufacturing processes, so it has been necessary to think in terms of a robust unit that can be fixed on to the machine and which can give appropriate signals to a recorder or a PC. In this way the necessary data are available to the operator or even
