The VKP type is a viscosity compensated variable-area flow meter that runs on a specially suspended float principle and is equipped with a measuring tube. This variable-area flow meter is integrated with a spring-loaded float with orifice and has slots that are constructed on the outside. These slots help in protecting the device from from soiling by dumping dirt particles. This ensures that float jamming is significantly prevented allowing particles that possess a size of 400 pm to be measured with ease.
