The DOT is a turbine flowmeter manufactured by Kobold, that includes of helically shaped turbine rotor supported in two tungsten carbide bearings. The rotor being durable ferritic stainless steel of a grade compatible with metered fluid, all includes inside a non-magnetic stainless steel casing. It is applicable in chemical and allied products, in pharmaceuticals, fuels, deionized water and fuel additives. A pick off coil with a stable magnet core is placed in the casing beside the rotor blade tips.
