The TEN 070 tensiscope enable the display of the distortions on the organic glasses, and the brightness or the breaks of the mineral glasses. If wrongly applied, such stress can cause distortion and, in glass lenses, chips. Tension is always applied when mounting a lens, any excessive tensioning shown by the tensiometer must be eliminated.
