The SIMATIC MV440 is a stationary 1D/2D code reading system which an impressive reputation with its wide range of connection and communication possibilities, and reliable reading capability. Specifically designed to read data matrix codes, it can be used under difficult environmental conditions in different industrial applications.

Optical character and object recognition are also possible with the OCR license called Text-Genius and with Pat-Genius. Perfect for the automobile, pharmaceuticals, packaging, electronics and cosmetics industries, its compact size and flexible lighting options make it ideal for food and beverages too.

With integrated lighting, variants reach up to 80cm in working distance, while with external lighting, it could reach a working distance of 300cm.
