The RUGGEDCOM RX1000P is a service level, Power over Ethernet (PoE) compatible, cyber security device with incorporated router, firewall, and VPN capabilities. This router can be integrated with up to 4 10/100Base TX 802.3af (PoE) compliant Ethernet ports. The RX1000P is suited for the creation of an electronic security perimeter within crucial cyber assets encountered in automation and control systems, so as to avoid operation interruption because of accidental reasons or malicious acts. The RX1000P features security capabilities such as full IPSec Virtual Private Networking (VPN), firewall functionality with the ability to hundreds of other mobile sites with security over Frame Relay and PPP. The router is to protect and secure the SCDA system networks connected straight to the Internet.
