The DRL 25 is a pneumatic rotary lift machine that enables smooth and dynamic pick and place operations with 180-degree and 90-degree rotation angles. It is the latest addition to SCHUNKs line of fast products for high-speed assembly for applications in the medical technology industry, consumer goods and electronics. The ability to stop the effector is enabled by using a flexible controller over the ideal target position and switching to a standby position while the placing unit or feed-through is being prepared. Thanks to this capability, productivity is boosted and stability is enhanced.

With a rotation angle of 180 degrees and a minimal load, the unit is able to achieve up to 75 cycles a minute. The rotation angle and vertical end position are adjustable by ?2 degrees and 10mm per side respectively. Turning and transferring can be done in a single step.
