Applications with safety brakes and holding brakes require safe brake monitoring, so that potential hazards can be excluded, even when the drive is in a de-energised state. During vertical movements in automatic production, there is a high risk of loads falling unintentionally due to gravity.



With the stand-alone safety relay PNOZ s50 Pilz is offering an economical solution for controlling two safety brakes up to category PL e of EN ISO 13849-1. Very short reaction times are achieved for personal protection due to contactless technology. This solution is manufacturer-independent, so you can benefit from full flexibility plus individual shutdown options for your application.
