Whenever data needs to be communicated without contact, optical devices for data transmission are the right choice. The optical data transceivers are used primarily in plant engineering, especially in applications where industrial networks such as PROFIBUS, DeviceNet or Ethernet etc. are connected to system components which are moved.

The DDLS 500 is a data transmission photoelectric sensor that, in addition to a high transmission rate of 100 Mbit/s, sets new standards ? above all with respect to usability. The remote maintenance function via remote control or direct connection in PROFINET is unique.
