The IP65 vandal proof stainless industrial keyboard is built of 8mm stainless steel trackball, top panel mounting with threaded bolt on back aluminium plate and 68 protuberant rectangular keys of super quality SUS304 brushed stainless steel based on carbon-on-gold key switch technology with long stroke (2.0mm) for rapid and accurate data input.

The keypad is also available with laser engraved & etched legends & raised braille on keys. The keys come with 2 mm key travel, ?0.6 N+/-0.1N actuation force for key 14.0mm x 14.0mm (pressure point ) and 1.2 N+/-0.1N for key 14.0mm x 28.0mm (pressure point) with greater than 10 million of switch life operation. The 1.5mm thick front plate is made of super quality brushed stainless steel while the 3.0mm back plate is made of brushed and oxidized aluminium. The tracker ball measures 38.1mm (1.5?) diameter and comes in various versions including IP65 static 400DPI mechanical trackball, IP68 dynamic washable 800DPI optical trackball and IP68 dynamic 1200DPI laser trackball.
