Control tasks are becoming increasingly demanding in various small-sized mobile applications. There has been a market gap for economical and modular mini controllers for mobile use. On the basis of extensive market research, ifm electronic has developed ecomatmobile Basic, a suitable control system for seamless, versatile, and economical automation of mobile applications.

ecomatmobile Basic includes three components, which are well-adapted to each other: BasicRelay, BasicController, BasicDisplay.

A well-coordinated mechanical concept makes the ecomatmobile system easy to install. The device with a modular design is easy to maintain and provides significant cost benefits. In addition to pure control, it also provides wiring and protection solutions. A graphical visualisation module helps in indication of system messages and user-friendly display of machine functions.

ecomatmobile Basic is programmable to IEC 61131-3 with CoDeSys. To carry out various communication tasks, high-performance CAN interfaces are useful.
