QC-001 is a tool changer manufactured by ATI. This instrument is designed with its modular construction, complete with electrical capabilities that are built into seaprate modules.

The tool is characterized by its compact and lightweight design for high-speed "spider" or delta robots. The apparatus performs a no-touch-technology function that enables maximum locking distance separation of about 0.04 in. Its patented fail-safe locking mechanism design results in low force acting on the piston. The instrument weighs less than 60 g with locking force (at 80 psi) of 39 lb.
