The Powerball-Lightweightarm LWA 4.6 belongs to the modular robotics industry. It is an ideal machine to be used in mobile applications in service robotics and in industrial handling. It features a weight/payload ratio of 2:1. Considered as a lightweight machine, it weighs a mere 12 kg. Yet despite its being lightweight, it has the capability to handle loads of up to 6 kg. Its gripping radius measures 700 mm. Its arm can be easily maneuvered in close spaces because of the compact design of the front end and wrist joint. Also, it boasts of having a repeat accuracy of 0.06 mm for measuring tasks.
