VME interface card / fiber optic / fieldbus

The C1300 | Lightbus VME bus interface card provides up to 255 input and output modules connectable to the VME bus through a single C1300 interface card. Data is carried using fiber optics at 2.5 Mbaud between the industrial peripherals and the VME bus rank, at fast rates without interference.

Convenient interrupt handling and eight priority-logical communication channels provide simplicity in program interface which reduces the load present on the VME bus CPU. The interface card has dedicated a communication processor as well as 4.0kbytes of dual ported RAM to the VME bus. This allows processed images of the connected Lightbus modules to appear in real-time.
