Beckhoff CX8051 embedded PC is a control system with CANopen slave interface. Two rotary selection switches are used for setting the CANopen address.

Using the CX8051, baud rate can be detected automatically. The CX8051 features automatic recognition of the I/O system type connected in the start-up phase. As per requirement, it is possible to attach K-bus or E-bus terminals.

The fieldbus interface or the additional Ethernet interface can be used for programming the control system.
