S-DIAS Safety System: Seamlessly integrated or stand-alone solution

With S-DIAS Safety, SIGMATEK introduces a slim and cost-optimized safety system to the market that can be flexibly tailored to the specific requirements of the application - in the control cabinet as well as in a decentralized machine and system environment.

The modular safety solution consists of an SCP 011 Safety CPU, which monitors the application and controls the respective safe I/Os. Here, the SDI 101 with ten, 2-channel Safety inputs and the STO 081 with eight 2-channel Safety outputs as well as a module with two 2-channel relay outputs are available (SRO 021). With dimensions of only 12.5 x 72 x 103.5 mm, the Safety I/Os are just as compactly packaged as the standard modules of the S-DIAS series.

The S-DIAS Safety system is designed for the highest safety requirements and can be seamlessly and flexibly integrated into the standard system of the series. Through this complete integration, the shortest signal processing reaction times are reached - These are in the range of a few milliseconds. Uncomplicated installation and comfortable programming with the LASAL Safety Designer contribute to the reduction of engineering costs. In addition, S-DIAS Safety can be used as a stand-alone solution. It is therefore possible to simply expand existing systems with Safety functions as required.

The S-DIAS Safety system is suited for use in various industries and is already TÜV-certified in accordance with SIL 3, SIL CL3 in accordance with IEC 62061 and EN ISO 13849-1, Category 4, PL e.
