Ethernet access point / WiFi / radio / wireless

Designed for embedded and mobile applications, difficult indeed impossible to wire, WLn-xROAD can be installed in buses, trucks, rotating machines, lifts, forklifts, overhead cranes or any other handling and lifting equipment for real- time data transmission and automation process control (data loading/offloading, remote-control, instrumentation and control system, PLCs communications, SCADA...).

The device relies on the multi-streams MIMO technology that contributes to an expanded coverage, higher data throughput (up to 300 Mbps) and increased radio link reliability. Its advanced features of router with integrated firewall, multi-SSID, WMM/QoS... make it powerful and versatile.

WLn-xROAD is completely transparent and fully compliant with all Ethernet based protocols such as Modbus/TCP, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, Safe Ethernet, etc.

For more flexibility, WLn-xROAD has several modes of operation allowing it to be used as access point, bridge, repeater or in a Mesh network (Mesh IEEE 802.11s).

Designed with a rugged aluminum enclosure, it fulfills the most severe requirements in terms of operating environment: operation from -25?C to +70?C, chock and vibration proof, IP66. WLn-xROAD is also UTAC E2 certified (CE standard for electronic equipment installed aboard vehicles).
